Xiangshi REN is an Associate Professor in Department of Information Systems Engineering at Kochi University of Technology. He received a B.E. degree in electrical and communication engineering, and M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in information and communication engineering from Tokyo Denki University, Japan, in 1991, 1993, and 1996, respectively. He was an instructor in Department of Information and Communication Engineering at Tokyo Denki University from 1996 to 1999. After working for Tokyo Denki University, he has been at Kochi University of Technology since 2000. He is a senior member of the IEEE, a member of the ACM, the IPSJ, the IEICE, and the Human Interface Society.

Jibin YIN is an instructor in Department of Information Systems Engineering at Kochi University of Technology. He received the B.E. degree from Shenyang University of Technology, China, in 2000, the M.E. degree from Kunming University of Science and Technology, China, in 2003 and Ph.D. degree from Kochi University of Technology, Japan, in 2007, respectively. He is a member of the IEEE.

Xinyong ZHANG received the B.AG. degree in forestry resource management from Nanjin Forestry University, China,in 1997, and the M.E. degree in system engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, China, in 2005, respectively. During 1997-2002, he worked in a government department of environmental protection in Lian Yun Gang, Jiangsu province, China.Currently, he is a Ph.D candidate in the Department of Information Systems Engineering in Kochi University of Technology, Japan. He is a student member of the IEEE Computer Society. He mainly concentrates on the research of eye-based interaction.

Chuanyi LIU received a M.E. degree in information and communication engineering from Kunming University of Science and Technology. At present, he is a Ph.D. candidate studying in Kochi University of Technology.

Xiaolei ZHOU is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Information Systems Engineering in Kochi University of Technology, Japan. She received her bachelor's degree and master's degree in information science and engineering from Yanshan University, China, in 2003 and 2006 respectively. Her current research interest includes human computer interation modeling.

Yizhong XIN, born in 1976, male, is a Ph.D. candidate of KUT and comes from Shenyang University of Technology. He is now doing research work on pen-based input device in Ren laboratory of Kochi University of Technology.

Tsuchida TOMOAKI received the B.E. degree from Kochi University of Technology, Japan, in 2006.Currently,he is a M.E candidate in Department of Information Systems Engineering in Kochi University of Technology, Japan. His research interests are pen-based techniques. His favorite food is the apple.

Tomoki OOYA is a M.E Candidate in Department of Information Systems Engineering at Kochi University of Technology. He received the B.E. degree in Department of Information Systems Engineering from Kochi University of Technology, Japan in 2003. His research interests include the Pen-based systems of human-computer interaction(HCI). His favorites are fishing, driving and collecting information on new technologies of HCI.

Fumiya FUKUTOKU received the B.E. degree from Kochi University of Technology, Japan, in 2006. Currently, he is a M.E candidate in Department of Information Systems Engineering in Kochi University of Technology, Japan. His research interests are the field of pen-based techniques. His hobby is to read the Japanese historical books.
