Welcome to Ren Lab at Kochi University of Technology. Our research focus
is Human Computer Interaction (HCI).

Digital devices have become constant human companions. The age of ubiquitous computing has arrived. How does this digital environment influence our lives, education and work? How, then, can we take advantage of the many and varied opportunities to live and work better? It is no wonder that research into Human Computer Interaction (HCI) is the focus of attention in universities and business worldwide. We are excited about the prospects of studying, reflecting, discovering and innovating with you all.

Recently, through our lab members’ great efforts, and by collaborating with industry and research labs across the globe, we have published high quality papers at ACM CHI and UIST. We encourage all students in our lab to submit their papers to ACM CHI and other top class international conferences and journals which are like the Mount Qomolangma (Everest) in the field of HCI.
